Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Access the Input Setup menu

Press the 'Menu' button on the pump control panel. Scroll down to 'Input Setup' and press 'Enter'.

Step 2: Select Contact Input

Scroll down to 'Contact Input' and press 'Enter'.

Step 3: Choose the desired contact input setting

Select either 'Closed to Stop the Pump' or 'Open to Stop the Pump' and press 'Enter'. 'Open to Stop the Pump' is the more common option, meaning the pump will stop when the contact is open and run when the contact is closed.

Step 5: Return to the main screen

Scroll down to the bottom of the menu and select 'Escape' until you reach the main screen

Step 6: Put the pump in standby mode

Press the 'Play' or 'Start' button to put the pump into standby mode. The screen will turn blue.

Step 7: Test the contact closure input

Close the contact to check if the pump goes into a green running state and starts circulating.
