Replacing the Tubing

Step 1: Remove the Thumb Screws and Pump Head Cover

Remove the three thumb screws on the pump head cover by hand. Then, remove the pump head cover.

Step 2: Remove the Tubing

Run the pump at 6 RPM. While the pump head is rotating, gently remove the bottom adapter and follow the pump head's rotation while gently pulling the rest of the tube out. Stop the pump, remove the roller assembly, and the washer behind it.

Cleaning the Pump

Step 3: Clean the Roller Assembly

Clean the roller assembly using a degreaser and rag. Remove grease, chemicals, or debris. Lubricate the rollers with a drop of silicone oil and wipe away any excess oil. Ensure each roller is free-spinning.

Step 4: Clean the Pump Head and Motor Shaft

Use a degreaser, rag, and scrub sponge to clean the interior of the pump head and motor shaft. Remove any grease, chemicals, or debris. Clean the optical TFD sensor as well.

Step 5: Apply High-Temperature Grease

Apply high-temperature grease directly to the shaft with a brush. This makes it easier to remove the roller assembly during the pump's next maintenance.

Installing the Tubing

Step 6: Reinstall the Spacer and Roller Assembly

Reinstall the spacer onto the shaft and reinstall the roller assembly into the pump head. Run the pump at 6 RPM.

Step 7: Insert the Tube Adapter and New Tubing

Insert the tube adapter in the bottom slot of the pump head. Carefully follow the roller's motion while inserting the new tubing. Use the tube installation tool to assist with tube assembly. Insert the tube adapter into the top slot of the pump head.

Step 8: Reinstall the Pump Head Cover and Fasten the Screws

Stop the pump and reinstall the pump head cover. Fasten the three screws by hand. It is recommended to clean the pump head and roller assembly every time there is a tube replacement. Proper maintenance will extend the tube life and reduce maintenance costs.

✅ Your pump is now ready for use.
