Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Remove Pump Head Cover

Remove the four thumb screws by hand from the pump head cover, then remove the cover itself.

Step 2: Remove Bottom Adapter and Tubing

While the pump head is rotating, gently remove the bottom adapter and follow the pump head's rotation while gently pulling the rest of the tubing out. Stop the pump.

Step 3: Remove Roller Assembly and White Washer

Remove the roller assembly and the white washer behind it.

Step 4: Clean Pump and Roller Assembly

Use a degreaser, rag, and scrub sponge to clean the roller assembly, interior of the pump head, motor shaft, and TFD sensor pins. Apply a drop of silicone oil to the end of the rollers to lubricate them, and apply high temp grease directly to the shaft with a brush.

Step 5: Reinstall Back Spacer, Roller Assembly, and New Tubing

Reinstall the back spacer onto the shaft, then reinstall the roller assembly into the pump head. While the pump is running, insert the tube adapter in the bottom slot of the pump head and carefully follow the roller's motion while inserting the new tubing. Use the tube installation tool to assist with the tube assembly and insert the tube adapter into the top slot of the pump head.

Step 6: Reassemble Pump Head Cover

Stop the pump, reinstall the pump head cover, and fasten the four screws by hand.

✅Proper maintenance, including cleaning the pump head and roller assembly during each tube replacement, will extend the tube life and reduce maintenance costs.
