Introduction

Blue-Central® is a versatile software tool from Blue-White that allows you to perform firmware updates on their line of smart pumps and ultrasonic flow meters. This guide will walk you through the process of performing an online update (with internet connection) and an offline update (without internet connection).

Guide to Perform an Online Update

Step 1: Ensure Computer Has Internet Connection and Connect Device

Before starting the update, make sure your computer has an internet connection. Then, connect your smart pump or ultrasonic flow meter to the computer using the USB cable.

Step 2: Open Blue-Central® and Start the Update

Open Blue-Central®. Your device will appear in the dashboard tab. Click on the device name to go to the device summary page. Select 'Upgrade Firmware' and then click 'Start Upgrade'. Blue-Central® will now transfer the firmware to the device.

Step 3: Complete the Update on the Device

The device will alert you that a software update is available. Select 'Yes' to complete the update. After the update is complete, the device will reboot and will now be up to date with the latest firmware.

Guide to Perform an Offline Update

Step 1: Download the Firmware

Ensure your computer has an internet connection. Open Blue-Central® and navigate to the 'Firmware' tab. Navigate to the product you want to update and download the firmware by clicking 'Download' on the right side of the page. After the download is complete, a green 'Yes' will appear, notifying you that this firmware is now available offline.

Step 2: Connect Device and Start the Update

Connect your pump or flow meter to the computer via USB cable. Open Blue-Central® and your product will appear in the dashboard tab. Click on the device name to go to the device summary page. Select 'Upgrade Firmware' and then click 'Start Upgrade'.
