The DICE™ Chemical Dosing Module DS makes pump calibration a simple process. The module allows for pump calibration under proper operating conditions. This guide will walk you through the steps to perform a pump calibration using the DICE™ Chemical Dosing Module DS.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Close the Injection Outlet Ball Valve and Open the Calibration Cylinder Ball Valve

Start by closing the injection outlet ball valve and opening the calibration cylinder ball valve. Make sure the evacuation valve is in the closed position.

Step 2: Start the Pump and Fill the Calibration Cylinder

Start the pump and fill the calibration cylinder to its first measurement line.

Step 3: Begin the Pump Calibration Sequence

Begin the pump calibration sequence by filling the column while measuring the time and volume.

Step 4: Validate and Troubleshoot the Dosing System

This procedure can also be done to validate and troubleshoot the dosing system. It allows the operator to quickly validate that everything is operating and flowing correctly from the chemical tank to the back pressure valve outlet.

Step 5: Drain the Cylinder Contents

Once the calibration is complete, drain the cylinder contents into the tank using the evacuation valve.

Step 6: Close and Reopen Valves

Close the calibration column valve and reopen the injection outlet valve when complete.
