Before starting the diaphragm replacement procedure, ensure the DICE™ unit is safe to handle. If the DICE™ unit is installed on a dosing system, make sure there is no pressure or residual chemical inside the unit. Always wear the required personal protective equipment.

Diaphragm Replacement Guide

Step 1: Remove the Valve Adjustment Screw

Start the diaphragm replacement process by completely removing the valve adjustment screw from the DICE™ unit.


Step 2: Unscrew the Mounting Bolts

Proceed by unscrewing the four mounting bolts that hold the valve body to the DICE™ unit.


Step 3: Remove the Valve Body and Old Diaphragm

Detach the valve body along with its four mounting screws. Then, remove the spring and seat assembly and the old diaphragm from the DICE™ block.


Step 4: Clean and Dry the Sealing Surface

Before installing the new diaphragm, clean and dry the diaphragm sealing surface on the DICE™ block.


Step 5: Install the New Diaphragm

Once the sealing surface is ready, install the new diaphragm and reinstall the spring and seat assembly.


Step 6: Reinstall the Valve Body

Now, reinstall the valve body along with the four mounting screws.


Step 7: Tighten the Mounting Screws

Tighten the four mounting screws and apply a torque of 25 pound-inches. Afterward, apply the final torque of 35 pound-inches on the mounting screws.


Step 8: Reinstall the Adjustment Screw

Reinstall the valve adjustment screw back into the DICE™ unit.


Step 9: Proceed with the DICE™ Setup and Adjustment

Finally, proceed with the setup and adjustment of the DICE™ unit as per your application requirements.


✅ With these steps, you've successfully replaced the diaphragm in your DICE™ Chemical Dosing Module.
